Smoky Snack Mix Recipe

If you love snack mix, you'll love this smoked version that has some incredible smoky flavor.
Have fun with the ingredients and add other crackers or nuts to really up the flavor profile. It's tough to mess this up!

Ingredients

  • 12 oz box of corn squares Chex
  • 12 oz box of rice squares
  • 20 oz box of cheese crackers Cheez-Its
  • 16 oz mixed nuts
  • 2 sticks of salted butter
  • ¼ cup Worcestershire Sauce
  • 2-3 Tbsp BBQ Rub

Instructions

  • Combine dry ingredients in 3 large aluminum pans.
  • Melt butter and combine with bbq rub and Worcestershire sauce.
  • Drizzle butter over the dry mix and toss with tongs.
  • Place the pans in your smoker at 225 degrees.
  • Let smoke for 60 minutes, tossing every 15 minutes.
  • Let the mix cool for about 15 minutes before placing it in the storage containers of your choice.

Notes

I've added triscuits and garlic chips to this mix to really up the flavor. You can also increase or decrease the amount of bbq rub based on your preferences.
