If you're looking for a great place to buy high grade organic beef online, look no further than Mountain Primal Meat Co.

About Mountain Primal Meat Co.

Mountain Primal Meat Co. is a ranch nestled in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado above the Roaring Fork Valley (one of my FAVORITE places to fish for big trout). They raise American Highland Cattle and American Berkshire Pork on the ranch, which are both hearty breeds that produce exceptional meat.

In addition to selling Berkshire pork and organic beef online, they also offer elk and bison products.

My Experience with Mountain Primal Meat Co.

After confirmation of my first order via email, I was contacted via phone from someone at the ranch to confirm I would be home when the delivery was scheduled. I was appreciative of the heads up!

My first order included some steak, pork chops, ground beef, beef breakfast links, fuel sticks, and two different bbq sauces. It was well packaged with quality insulation to keep the meat frozen during shipment.

I love the messaging on the outside of the packaging.

The first two products I cooked were pork chops, and then a New York strip. I was really impressed by the quality of both of these cuts. The marbling of the strip was superb, and the pork chops had some incredible flavor.

We made shepherds pie with a pack of ground beef, and we instantly noticed how lean and flavorful it is. That’s a big benefit of American Highland Beef. It’s a leaner breed of cattle, but because of how and where they are raised the beef is still restaurant or above quality.

Product Options – Better Than Organic Beef and Pork Products Online

Mountain Primal Meat Co. has a wide assortment of products available. If you’re looking for a great place to purchase “better than” organic beef online, look no further.

Their product lineup includes all your traditional cuts of beef and pork, plus select cuts of bison and elk. They have a lineup of beef fuel sticks, and bbq sauces too. And I gotta admit, those beef sticks didn’t last long when they arrived at our door.

The beef fuel sticks don’t have any artificial ingredients, and are nitrite and nitrate free. Just great flavor from antibiotic free beef.

Good quality meat isn’t cheap. Expect to spend between $30 and $40 for a 16 oz ribeye, $15 for a pound of bacon, and $19 for a package of pork chops. Tri tip starts at $26, and brisket around $100.

If you’re looking for high quality meat, this pricing is in line with several of the other high end brands out there.

Final Thoughts

I’m a big fan of Mountain Primal Meat Co. and am so glad I had an opportunity to give them a try. I’m impressed by the quality of the products they offer, and the fact that they raise the animals in a very humane manner on a ranch in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado really appeals to me.
